برنامج [ WinISO ] مهمته بسيطة و هي تحويل ملفات من نوع BIN إلى ملفات من نوع ISO. و إن كلا ً من هذه الصيغتين هي عبــــــــارة
عن ملف صورة رقمية للقرص مضغوط CD أو DVD. و من خلال هذه الصورة الرقمية فإنه يمكنك حفظ نسخة احتياطية رقمية للأقـــــــراص
و تخزينها في كمبيوترك للرجوع إليها وقت الحاجة. و من فوائد الصورة الرقمية ايضا ً امكانية استخدامها مع برامج الســــــــــــواقات الوهمية
إلا أن هناك برامج لا تدعم نوع الملفات BIN و هنا يأتي دور هذا البرنامج السريع و الخفيف بتحويلها إلى صيغة ISO الأكثر شهرة و انتشارا ً
و يتضمن البرنامج عدة خصائص لتعديل و انشاء ملفات ISO . تعديل الصور واضافه المؤثرات
